This year, instead of US collecting money for the Tech Passes, the track will be collecting money for them when you enter.
Fees are as follows:
- $10 Track Admission (per spectator or crew member)
- $25 Tech Pass Fee (includes Tech Pass for car AND driver's Track Admission)
There will NOT be a raffle this year. If prizes are donated by sponsors or attendees, they will be awarded at random, by a drawing from the tech passes sold. The winners will be announced over the PA system at the track throughout the event.
If you'd like to line up against somebody in particular and race them, feel free to do so. Grudge matches ARE allowed and encouraged. Otherwise, pairings will be at random unless you organize it with your opponent of choice.
The track will NOT be opened on Friday Night, so come hang out with us at the host hotel to shoot the breeze/swap lies and check out the cars.

Test & Tune basically means bringing your car to the track, running your best and getting a timeslip. You can make as many passes as you like during the day. Come on out and see what your car can do in the quarter mile. Test your reaction times on the tree. Take home your time slips, post them on your website, or just show them off to your friends. Come run your car as fast as you want...LEGALLY!!!
Even if you're not the competitive type, or are just building and testing out a car, you can still run all the passes you want and still have fun doing it. We realize that everybody has to start somewhere, so whether you're a rookie at drag racing, or a seasoned veteran of the track, you'll still be welcomed at our event.
Don't own a Datsun, Nissan or Infiniti and still want to join us for Test & Tune? That's fine, bring it on, the more the merrier. Want to see how your car stacks up against Z's, G's, SX's, & others? Thats fine too. Want to run your Honda, Mustang, Camaro, GNX, Lamborghini or some other domestic or exotic beast against somebody to see if you've got what it takes? That's fine too.
Be sure to bring your husband, wife, children, girlfriend, boyfriend, aunt, uncle, cousin, neighbor, whoever, with you. There will be some exhibition cars running some really quick times during the event if you just want to come out and spectate. That's one of the things that makes DNI Shootouts so special. Our events are about the comraderie and friendship of car owners, drag racers and their families and friends alike, not just competition. Who knows, you might even get a chance to meet some of the people you read posts from on the internet. Put a face with the screen name, make new friends, or just come enjoy a day at the track with the guys (and girls, of course).
